System Design


OWL offers one-week course studies for certification in Certified System Design (CSD) and three-week course studies in Advanced System Design (ASD). All courses are conducted in a retreat style in Green Bay, Wisconsin, home of the Green Bay Packers. 


Certified System Design (CSD) 

The Certified System Design (CSD) certification provides the participant with an in-depth understanding of the principles of Customer-Supplier Relationships and the Universal Business System Design (UBSD). The curriculum closely follows the text of Mission Simple Book I and includes classroom and lab work. Participants who achieve certification will be capable of leading internal teams in the implementation and operation of Customer-Supplier Relationships and the UBSD. It is helpful, but not required, to have some Lean Six Sigma training prior to participation in this curriculum.


Duration: 30 hours (one week)

Outbound Sales

ADVANCED SYSTEM DESIGN (ASD)

The Advanced Sysyem Design (ASD) certification provides the participant with all of the knowledge and tools required to lead the assessment, design, and implementation of Customer-Supplier Relationships and the UBSD. The ASD is required to become a licensed Mission Simple Partner. The curriculum follows the text in Mission Simple Book I and includes classroom, lab and field work to give the participant a complete command of UBSD, Participants who achieve certification will be capable of leading internal teams in the implementation and operation of Customer-Supplier Relationships and the UBSD. It is helpful, but not required, to have some Lean Six Sigma training prior to participation in this curriculum.


Duration: 90 hours (three weeks)*

OUTBOUND SALES - QUANTITATIVE ALIGNMENT

Sales has changed dramatically since the introduction of the Internet. The buyer no longer needs sales for information, destroying the long-established method of pushing product or services to the customer. Most recently, sales has been rocked again with the buyer's absolute cold-blooded adherence to return-on-investment. In business-to-business sales, buyers only have budgets available for products or services that contribute real dollars to the organization. The only way to win business is with quantitative alignment--whatever you're selling must have a direct correlation to contributing real dollars to the buyer. The session is conducted by OWL co-founder Michael D.
